To ensure the proper care and maintenance of our accommodations, Ātman Eco Cabanes reserves the right to require a security deposit or pre-authorize a valid credit card before, during, or upon arrival for any reservation. The amount of any deposit or authorization shall be determined by Ātman Eco Cabanes and may vary depending on the accommodation, length of stay, group size, season, or other risk factors.The reservation holder accepts full financial responsibility for any loss, damage, excessive cleaning, or additional costs arising from their stay or the actions of any guest, visitor, invitee, child, or pet associated with their reservation.Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, additional charges may include, but are not limited to:Damage to furniture, fixtures, appliances, décor, windows, doors, locks, flooring, walls, ceilings, cabinetry, or other property;Damage to mattresses, bedding, linens, towels, robes, or other textiles, including stains, burns, odours, or contamination requiring professional cleaning or replacement;Smoke remediation resulting from smoking, vaping, cannabis use, candles, incense, or other prohibited activities within or near accommodations where prohibited;Excessive cleaning required due to unreasonable dirtiness, bodily fluids, pet waste, food waste, garbage, strong odours, glitter, confetti, or similar conditions beyond ordinary housekeeping;Lost, stolen, or damaged keys, access cards, locks, or security devices;Missing, stolen, or damaged equipment, furnishings, kitchenware, electronics, books, games, artwork, décor, or amenities;Damage caused by pets, including scratches, chewing, stains, odours, or other property damage;Broken windows, mirrors, glass doors, screens, or lighting fixtures;Damage to plumbing, septic systems, water systems, hot tubs, fireplaces, wood stoves, outdoor facilities, or other infrastructure resulting from misuse or negligence;Water damage resulting from guest negligence, including overflowing sinks, bathtubs, toilets, unattended running water, or improper operation of appliances;Damage resulting from unauthorized parties, excessive occupancy, misuse of facilities, or violations of these Terms.Where damage or additional costs occur, Ātman Eco Cabanes may charge the reservation holder for the reasonable cost of:Repairing damaged property;Replacing property that cannot reasonably be repaired;Professional cleaning or restoration services;Lost business income resulting directly from the accommodation being temporarily unavailable due to guest-caused damage, where permitted by applicable law;Labour, contractor fees, inspection costs, administrative costs, disposal costs, shipping costs, and any other reasonable expenses directly related to restoring the accommodation to its original condition.Ātman Eco Cabanes may document damage through photographs, videos, inspection reports, invoices, receipts, contractor estimates, or other reasonable evidence before processing any charges.Where possible, guests will be notified of damage charges within a reasonable period following checkout and may be provided with supporting documentation upon request.Nothing in this section limits any other legal rights or remedies available to Ātman Eco Cabanes under applicable law.

2. Unauthorized Parties, Gatherings & Events

Ātman Eco Cabanes is designed to provide a peaceful, intimate, and restorative environment for all guests. Reservations are made solely for the number of registered guests approved at the time of booking and for the purpose of temporary accommodation only.Unless expressly authorized in writing by Ātman Eco Cabanes before the reservation begins, guests shall not organize, host, advertise, or permit any unauthorized gathering, event, celebration, meeting, or commercial activity on the property.Prohibited events include, but are not limited to:Birthday parties;Weddings or wedding-related events;Bachelor or bachelorette parties;Engagement parties;Family reunions;Corporate meetings or retreats not booked through Ātman Eco Cabanes;Photoshoots or commercial photography sessions;Film, television, or video productions;Influencer, promotional, or sponsored content creation for commercial purposes;Live performances or musical events;DJ performances or amplified entertainment;Ticketed events;Fundraisers;Public or private gatherings involving individuals who are not registered guests;Any activity that, in the sole reasonable opinion of Ātman Eco Cabanes, disrupts the peaceful enjoyment of the property or creates an unreasonable safety, security, environmental, or operational concern.Guests shall not permit visitors onto the property without the prior approval of Ātman Eco Cabanes. Unauthorized visitors may be required to leave the property immediately.The reservation holder is fully responsible for the conduct and actions of all registered guests, visitors, invitees, contractors, photographers, vendors, entertainers, or any other individuals entering the property in connection with their reservation.Where Ātman Eco Cabanes reasonably determines that an unauthorized event or gathering has occurred or is likely to occur, it reserves the right to take any action it considers reasonably necessary to protect the property, guests, staff, and surrounding environment, including, without limitation:Requiring unauthorized visitors to immediately leave the property;Cancelling the reservation with immediate effect;Removing guests from the property where legally permitted;Refusing future reservations;Charging for any additional cleaning, damage, security, staffing, or operational costs resulting from the unauthorized event;Recovering compensation for property damage, business interruption, or other losses where permitted by applicable law.Any reservation terminated as a result of an unauthorized party, gathering, or event shall be considered a breach of these Terms & Conditions. In such circumstances, guests shall not be entitled to any refund, credit, or compensation for any unused portion of their stay, except where required by applicable law.Nothing in this section limits the right of Ātman Eco Cabanes to contact emergency services or law enforcement where necessary to protect the safety of guests, staff, neighbouring properties, wildlife, or the public.2.1. Commercial Photography, Filming & Content CreationBecause Atman is going to be visually unique, people will eventually want to use it for brand shoots, YouTube videos, Instagram campaigns, wedding photography, or advertisements.Commercial photography, videography, drone operations, livestreaming, content creation for sponsored or promotional purposes, advertising campaigns, product launches, professional productions, or any other commercial use of the property require the prior written approval of Ātman Eco Cabanes.A standard accommodation reservation does not grant permission to use the property as a commercial filming location or production venue.Ātman Eco Cabanes reserves the right to require location fees, commercial agreements, proof of insurance, additional security deposits, and signed release agreements before approving any commercial activity.Unauthorized commercial use of the property may result in the immediate termination of the reservation without refund, removal from the property where permitted by law, and liability for any resulting damages or losses.I strongly recommend including this clause because boutique resorts are increasingly being used by influencers, brands, photographers, and production companies, and it allows you to distinguish ordinary guest photography from commercial use while protecting your business.

3. Maximum Occupancy & Registered Guests

Each accommodation at Ātman Eco Cabanes has a maximum occupancy established in accordance with safety requirements, fire regulations, insurance limitations, infrastructure capacity, and the intended guest experience. The maximum occupancy for each accommodation is specified during the reservation process and may not be exceeded under any circumstances without the prior written approval of Ātman Eco Cabanes.Only individuals who are registered as part of the reservation and approved by Ātman Eco Cabanes are permitted to occupy or stay overnight in the accommodation.For the purposes of these Terms, an occupant includes any individual, regardless of age, who remains on the property or within an accommodation beyond what would reasonably be considered a brief visit. Infants and children count toward the stated occupancy limit unless otherwise specified by Ātman Eco Cabanes.Guests shall not:Permit additional individuals to stay overnight without prior written approval;Bring additional occupants beyond the maximum occupancy stated for the accommodation;Use tents, recreational vehicles, campers, trailers, hammocks, vehicles, or any temporary structures on the property to accommodate additional overnight guests unless expressly authorized in writing;Rotate groups of guests in an attempt to circumvent occupancy limits;Allow unauthorized visitors to remain on the property beyond the limits established by Ātman Eco Cabanes.Occupancy limits are established for several important reasons, including but not limited to:Fire and life safety requirements;Building code compliance;Insurance coverage and liability considerations;Well water, septic system, and utility capacity;Parking availability;Protection of the surrounding natural environment;Preservation of the peaceful atmosphere for other guests;Prevention of excessive wear and damage to accommodations.The reservation holder accepts full responsibility for ensuring that all occupants and visitors comply with the approved occupancy limits throughout the reservation.If Ātman Eco Cabanes reasonably determines that the maximum occupancy has been exceeded or that unauthorized overnight occupants are present, it reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to take any action reasonably necessary to protect the property and other guests, including:Requiring unauthorized occupants or visitors to immediately leave the property;Charging additional occupancy fees where applicable;Cancelling the reservation with immediate effect;Removing guests from the property where permitted by applicable law;Refusing future reservations;Charging for any resulting damage, excessive cleaning, utility usage, operational costs, or other losses directly arising from the occupancy violation.Any reservation terminated due to exceeding the authorized occupancy limit or the presence of unauthorized overnight guests shall be considered a material breach of these Terms & Conditions. In such circumstances, guests shall not be entitled to any refund, credit, or compensation for any unused portion of their stay, except where required by applicable law.Nothing in this section limits any additional rights or remedies available to Ātman Eco Cabanes under applicable law.3.1. Registered Guests, Visitors & Identity VerificationĀtman Eco Cabanes is a private resort located on privately owned property. Access to the property and its accommodations is granted solely at the discretion of Ātman Eco Cabanes and only to individuals who comply with these Terms & Conditions.Only individuals who are registered as part of the reservation and approved by Ātman Eco Cabanes are permitted to occupy or remain overnight in any accommodation.Visitors who are not registered guests are permitted on the property only with the prior approval of Ātman Eco Cabanes. Approval may be withheld, limited, or revoked at any time for operational, environmental, security, insurance, occupancy, or safety reasons.All approved visitors must comply with these Terms & Conditions, the House Rules, Community Guidelines (where applicable), and all reasonable instructions provided by Ātman Eco Cabanes staff.The reservation holder accepts full responsibility for the conduct, safety, actions, and compliance of every guest, visitor, child, contractor, photographer, vendor, pet, or any other individual associated with their reservation.Identity Verification  To protect the safety, security, privacy, and comfort of all guests, every individual staying overnight at Ātman Eco Cabanes must be registered with the reservation before occupying any accommodation.Upon arrival, every registered guest, including the reservation holder, must present a valid government-issued photo identification upon request.The reservation holder must also present a valid credit card issued in the same legal name as the reservation. Ātman Eco Cabanes reserves the right to verify the identity of the reservation holder before granting access to the property.Ātman Eco Cabanes may also request identification from any individual present on the property where it reasonably believes that the individual:is occupying an accommodation;intends to remain overnight;is participating in an event or activity;has exceeded approved visitor privileges;may present a safety, security, or operational concern; oris otherwise required to verify compliance with these Terms & Conditions.Guests agree to cooperate fully with reasonable identity verification requests made by Ātman Eco Cabanes.Failure to Provide IdentificationFailure or refusal to provide satisfactory identification upon request may result in one or more of the following actions, at the sole discretion of Ātman Eco Cabanes:refusal of check-in;refusal of entry to the property;removal of unauthorized visitors;cancellation of the reservation;immediate termination of the stay;refusal of future reservations; andforfeiture of any refunds, except where required by applicable law.Any individual who cannot be verified as an authorized guest may be required to leave the property immediately.Unauthorized GuestsGuests shall not:permit unregistered individuals to stay overnight;provide cabin access codes or keys to unauthorized persons;conceal the presence of additional occupants;rotate visitors to avoid occupancy limits;falsely identify occupants; orotherwise circumvent the registration requirements established by Ātman Eco Cabanes.The presence of any unauthorized overnight guest constitutes a material breach of these Terms & Conditions.Guest RecordsFor security, insurance, emergency response, and legal compliance purposes, Ātman Eco Cabanes may collect and maintain records relating to registered guests, including names and identity verification information, in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable privacy legislation.Right to Remove IndividualsAs a private property owner, Ātman Eco Cabanes reserves the right, where permitted by law, to require any unauthorized or non-compliant individual to immediately leave the property.Failure to comply with a lawful request to leave the property may result in law enforcement being contacted where appropriate.Nothing in this section limits any other rights or remedies available to Ātman Eco Cabanes under these Terms & Conditions or applicable law.

4. Vehicle Parking, Road Use & Transportation

Ātman Eco Cabanes is situated on privately owned property. All roads, driveways, parking areas, and access routes within the property are private and are intended solely for the use of authorized guests, approved visitors, employees, contractors, and service providers.Guests may park only in parking areas designated by Ātman Eco Cabanes. Parking availability is not guaranteed unless expressly stated as part of a reservation.All vehicles parked or operated on the property are parked, driven, and stored entirely at the owner's sole risk. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ātman Eco Cabanes shall not be responsible or liable for any theft, attempted theft, vandalism, collision, fire, falling trees or branches, wildlife damage, weather-related damage, flooding, road conditions, or any other loss of or damage to any vehicle or its contents while on the property.Guests are responsible for ensuring that their vehicles are properly insured, secured, and operated in a safe and lawful manner.Guests shall not:Park outside designated parking areas;Block roads, emergency access routes, driveways, cabins, fire lanes, utility areas, maintenance areas, or other vehicles;Park in a manner that interferes with snow removal, emergency services, deliveries, maintenance operations, or the safe movement of guests;Leave abandoned, unregistered, unsafe, or inoperable vehicles on the property;Perform vehicle maintenance, repairs, oil changes, mechanical work, washing, detailing, fueling, or similar activities on the property without the prior written approval of Ātman Eco Cabanes;Operate all-terrain vehicles, dirt bikes, snowmobiles, recreational vehicles, or similar motorized vehicles on the property except where expressly authorized by Ātman Eco Cabanes;Drive off established roads, parking areas, or designated access routes without prior written authorization;Operate a vehicle in a reckless, unsafe, or environmentally damaging manner.Guests must comply with all posted speed limits, traffic signs, parking instructions, and reasonable directions provided by Ātman Eco Cabanes staff at all times.Vehicles that are parked illegally, abandoned, create a safety hazard, obstruct emergency access, interfere with operations, or otherwise violate these Terms & Conditions may, where permitted by applicable law, be removed, relocated, or towed at the vehicle owner's sole expense and risk, without liability to Ātman Eco Cabanes.Ātman Eco Cabanes reserves the right to refuse access to any vehicle that, in its reasonable opinion, presents a safety risk, environmental concern, operational issue, or is otherwise inconsistent with the peaceful operation of the property.Guests who cause damage to roads, parking areas, landscaping, utilities, gates, bridges, drainage systems, signs, fences, or any other property through the operation of a vehicle shall be fully responsible for all reasonable costs associated with repair, restoration, labour, equipment, and any resulting operational losses.Nothing in this section limits any other rights or remedies available to Ātman Eco Cabanes under these Terms & Conditions or applicable law.4.1 - Road ConditionsGuests acknowledge that access roads to and within Ātman Eco Cabanes may be gravel, unpaved, steep, uneven, or affected by weather conditions, snow, ice, mud, wildlife, or fallen branches. Guests are solely responsible for ensuring that their vehicle is suitable for prevailing road conditions. Ātman Eco Cabanes does not guarantee road conditions at any particular time and shall not be liable for vehicle damage, towing costs, delays, or other losses resulting from road conditions, except where required by applicable law.I recommend including both of these because your property is accessed by private roads in a forest environment. They're not commonly found in standard hotel terms, but they're highly relevant for a destination like Ātman Eco Cabanes.4.2 No Idling Guests shall not leave vehicles idling for extended periods except where reasonably necessary for safety, mechanical reasons, or extreme weather conditions. 4.3 Seasonal Tire Responsibility (Québec) During periods where winter tires are required by law, guests are solely responsible for ensuring their vehicles comply with all applicable legal requirements. Ātman Eco Cabanes is not responsible for vehicles that become stuck, stranded, or unable to safely access or leave the property due to unsuitable equipment or weather conditions.4.4 Recovery & Towing Costs Where a guest's vehicle becomes stuck, disabled, or otherwise requires recovery on the property, all towing, winching, recovery, transportation, storage, and related costs shall be the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. Ātman Eco Cabanes is under no obligation to provide towing equipment, recovery vehicles, or roadside assistance. 4.5 No Vehicle Camping Sleeping, camping, or residing in motor vehicles, recreational vehicles, trailers, campers, or similar vehicles anywhere on the property is prohibited by local land zoning laws. 4.6 Speed Limit Vehicles must be operated slowly and safely at all times. Guests shall comply with all posted speed limits and traffic signage. Where no speed limit is posted, vehicles shall not exceed 30 km/h (9 mph) or any lower speed that is reasonable for road, weather, pedestrian, or wildlife conditions. 4.7 No Liability for Road Closures Ātman Eco Cabanes may temporarily restrict or close roads, parking areas, or portions of the property due to weather conditions, maintenance, construction, emergencies, or safety concerns. Guests shall comply with all closures and directions provided by staff.

5. Drones & Unmanned Aircraft Systems

To preserve the privacy, safety, peaceful atmosphere, and natural environment of Ātman Eco Cabanes, the operation of drones or other unmanned aircraft systems ("UAS") anywhere on or above the property is prohibited unless prior written authorization has been granted by Ātman Eco Cabanes.For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions, "drone" includes any remotely piloted aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), unmanned aircraft system (UAS), remotely operated aircraft, or similar aerial device capable of flight, regardless of size or weight.Guests, visitors, contractors, photographers, and any other individual present on the property shall not launch, land, operate, or recover a drone from any portion of the property without the prior written approval of Ātman Eco Cabanes.Drone operations may be restricted or prohibited for reasons including, but not limited to:Protecting the privacy of guests, visitors, and neighbouring properties;Preventing the disturbance, harassment, or displacement of wildlife;Reducing unnecessary noise and preserving the peaceful atmosphere of the property;Protecting the safety of guests, staff, buildings, vehicles, and surrounding forested areas;Reducing the risk of fire, accidents, or other hazards;Complying with applicable laws, aviation regulations, and environmental requirements; andAny other operational, environmental, or safety reason deemed reasonably necessary by Ātman Eco Cabanes.Where written authorization is granted, guests shall comply with all conditions imposed by Ātman Eco Cabanes, including any restrictions relating to flight locations, operating hours, weather conditions, altitude, duration, supervision, insurance requirements, or permitted uses.Guests remain solely responsible for complying with all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws, regulations, permits, and licensing requirements governing the operation of drones, including all applicable aviation regulations. Authorization granted by Ātman Eco Cabanes does not constitute authorization from any governmental authority.Guests shall be fully responsible for any injury, property damage, invasion of privacy, environmental harm, wildlife disturbance, fire, regulatory penalties, or other loss arising from the operation of a drone by themselves or any individual associated with their reservation.Ātman Eco Cabanes reserves the right to require the immediate cessation of any drone operation and to require that any unauthorized drone be landed immediately. Individuals who fail to comply with this policy may be required to leave the property, have their reservation terminated without refund except where required by applicable law, and may be held responsible for any resulting damages, losses, or costs.Nothing in this section limits any other rights or remedies available to Ātman Eco Cabanes under these Terms & Conditions or applicable law.

6. Noise, Quiet Enjoyment & Quiet Hours

Ātman Eco Cabanes is designed as a peaceful nature retreat where guests are encouraged to relax, unwind, and reconnect with the natural environment. All guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner that preserves the quiet enjoyment of the property for others.Guests shall avoid creating excessive or unreasonable noise at any time, including any noise that may disturb other guests, neighbouring properties, wildlife, or interfere with the peaceful atmosphere of Ātman Eco Cabanes.Unless otherwise announced by Ātman Eco Cabanes in connection with an organized event, workshop, or other authorized activity, designated quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. During these hours, guests are expected to minimize all noise both inside and outside their accommodations.Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, guests shall not at any time do the following:Play loud music or audio at a volume that may be heard outside their accommodation;Use amplified speakers, sound systems, subwoofers, or similar audio equipment outdoors;Shout, scream, engage in disruptive behaviour, or create excessive noise;Operate generators or other noisy machinery without the prior written approval of Ātman Eco Cabanes;Create noise that interferes with the enjoyment, comfort, rest, or privacy of other guests;Engage in any activity that, in the reasonable opinion of Ātman Eco Cabanes, disturbs the peaceful character of the property.Guests remain responsible for the conduct of all individuals associated with their reservation, including visitors, children, and pets, and shall ensure that they also comply with this Noise, Quiet Enjoyment & Quiet Hours policy.Ātman Eco Cabanes may, in its sole discretion, issue a verbal or written warning for a noise violation; however, it is under no obligation to provide a warning before taking action where the disturbance is significant or repeated.Guests who fail to comply with this policy, or who repeatedly create unreasonable noise or disturbances, may be required to immediately cease the activity, leave the property, or have their reservation terminated without refund, except where required by applicable law. Ātman Eco Cabanes further reserves the right to refuse future reservations and recover any reasonable costs, damages, or losses resulting from such conduct.Nothing in this section shall prevent Ātman Eco Cabanes from hosting or authorizing workshops, wellness activities, educational programs, festivals, community events, maintenance activities, emergency operations, or other events organized or expressly approved by Ātman Eco Cabanes, which may occur outside the designated quiet hours where reasonably necessary.

7. Illegal Activities, Prohibited Conduct & Compliance with Laws

Guests, visitors, and all individuals present on the property shall comply with all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws, regulations, bylaws, permits, and governmental requirements at all times while on the property.Any illegal activity is strictly prohibited. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, guests shall not engage in, permit, facilitate, or attempt to engage in any activity that is unlawful or that may reasonably jeopardize the safety, security, reputation, or operation of Ātman Eco Cabanes.Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:Possessing, producing, trafficking, distributing, or selling illegal drugs or controlled substances;Using illegal drugs or controlled substances contrary to applicable law;Possessing, carrying, storing, or using firearms, prohibited weapons, prohibited devices, prohibited ammunition, explosives, or other weapons in violation of applicable law;Assault, threats, harassment, intimidation, violence, or any other criminal or abusive conduct;Theft, fraud, vandalism, mischief, trespassing, or intentional damage to property;Human trafficking, prostitution, or any unlawful commercial activity;Illegal hunting, trapping, fishing, or the unlawful disturbance, capture, or killing of wildlife;Cutting, damaging, removing, or destroying trees, vegetation, natural features, or protected habitats without authorization;Lighting fires, burning materials, using fireworks, explosives, lanterns, or other ignition sources contrary to these Terms & Conditions, posted restrictions, or applicable law;Dumping waste, hazardous materials, chemicals, or pollutants onto the property or surrounding environment;Any activity that violates environmental protection laws or regulations;Any other unlawful activity prohibited under applicable law.Guests shall not use the property for any criminal purpose or for any activity that could reasonably expose Ātman Eco Cabanes, its owners, employees, guests, neighbouring properties, or the surrounding environment to harm, liability, or legal action.Ātman Eco Cabanes reserves the right to immediately investigate any suspected illegal activity and may require guests or visitors to cease the activity, surrender unauthorized access to the property, or otherwise cooperate with reasonable requests made to protect the safety and security of the property.Where Ātman Eco Cabanes reasonably believes that illegal activity has occurred or presents an immediate threat to the safety of persons or property, it reserves the right to immediately terminate the reservation, require the individuals involved to leave the property without refund except where required by applicable law, refuse future reservations, and take any other action permitted by law.Ātman Eco Cabanes further reserves the right to contact law enforcement, emergency services, conservation officers, fire authorities, or any other appropriate governmental authority whenever it reasonably considers such notification necessary or appropriate.Guests shall remain fully responsible for all fines, penalties, damages, legal costs, cleanup costs, remediation expenses, or other losses arising from any illegal activity committed by themselves or by any individual associated with their reservation.Nothing in this section limits any other rights or remedies available to Ātman Eco Cabanes under these Terms & Conditions or applicable law.

8. Alcohol Policy

Ātman Eco Cabanes is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all guests. Guests who choose to consume alcoholic beverages on the property are expected to do so responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws and these Terms & Conditions.Guests remain solely responsible for their own conduct, decisions, and actions while consuming or after consuming alcohol. Consumption of alcohol does not relieve any guest of their responsibility to comply with these Terms & Conditions, House Rules, or any reasonable instructions provided by Ātman Eco Cabanes staff.Alcohol shall not be provided, served, purchased for, or knowingly made available to any individual under the legal drinking age established by the applicable laws of the Province of Québec. Guests are responsible for ensuring that all alcohol consumed on the property is done so in accordance with applicable laws.Guests shall not become excessively intoxicated or engage in any conduct that, in the reasonable opinion of Ātman Eco Cabanes, creates a disturbance, endangers themselves or others, damages property, negatively affects the peaceful enjoyment of other guests, or interferes with the safe operation of the property.Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, guests shall not:Serve or provide alcohol to minors or any person prohibited by law from consuming alcohol;Consume alcohol in a manner that creates excessive noise, disorderly conduct, harassment, violence, or unsafe behaviour;Operate any motor vehicle or other equipment while impaired by alcohol;Encourage or participate in dangerous drinking activities, drinking games, or any activity that presents an unreasonable risk to persons or property;Refuse to comply with reasonable directions from Ātman Eco Cabanes staff relating to alcohol consumption or guest safety.Ātman Eco Cabanes reserves the right to refuse or discontinue the sale or service of alcohol to any individual at its sole discretion where permitted by law, including where it reasonably believes continued service may create a safety risk or violate applicable liquor laws or licensing requirements.To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ātman Eco Cabanes shall not be responsible or liable for any injury, illness, accident, death, property damage, financial loss, legal consequences, or other damages arising directly or indirectly from a guest's consumption of alcohol, intoxication, impairment, or failure to act responsibly.Guests remain fully responsible for all injuries, damages, losses, claims, fines, legal costs, or other liabilities arising from their own alcohol consumption or the alcohol consumption of any individual associated with their reservation.Failure to comply with this Alcohol Policy constitutes a material breach of these Terms & Conditions and may result in the refusal of alcohol service, confiscation of alcohol where permitted by law, immediate termination of the reservation without refund except where required by applicable law, removal from the property where legally permitted, refusal of future reservations, and any other rights or remedies available to Ātman Eco Cabanes under these Terms & Conditions or applicable law.

9. Campfires, Fire Pits & Fire Safety

The safety of guests, neighbouring properties, wildlife, and the surrounding forest is of paramount importance. Guests are required to exercise extreme caution whenever using or being near any fire on the property and shall comply with all applicable laws, fire regulations, posted notices, and reasonable instructions provided by Ātman Eco Cabanes.Campfires are permitted only in designated fire pits or other fire features specifically provided or approved by Ātman Eco Cabanes. Guests shall not light or maintain fires in any other location on the property.Guests shall:Use only designated fire pits or approved fire features;Burn only clean, untreated firewood provided by or expressly approved by Ātman Eco Cabanes;Keep all fires at a safe and reasonable size;Continuously supervise any fire until it has been completely extinguished;Fully extinguish all fires before leaving the fire pit or retiring for the evening;Exercise reasonable care to prevent sparks, embers, or burning materials from escaping the fire pit;Immediately report any uncontrolled fire, excessive smoke, or other fire-related emergency to Ātman Eco Cabanes and, where appropriate, emergency services.Guests shall not:Leave any fire unattended for any period of time;Burn garbage, plastics, treated wood, construction materials, household waste, leaves, brush, furniture, accelerants, or any material other than approved firewood;Remove burning wood, hot embers, or ashes from designated fire pits;Start fires outside designated fire pits;Use fireworks, sky lanterns, pyrotechnics, explosive devices, or similar ignition sources on the property unless expressly authorized in writing by Ātman Eco Cabanes.Guests shall comply at all times with all fire restrictions, burn bans, and emergency measures issued by SOPFEU, municipal authorities, provincial authorities, or any other competent governmental authority. If SOPFEU or any other competent authority declares a burn ban, fire restriction, or prohibition applicable to the property, all campfires, recreational fires, and other open flames shall be immediately prohibited, regardless of whether a fire pit has been provided. Guests shall immediately extinguish any fire upon the issuance of such a restriction or upon the request of Ātman Eco Cabanes.Ātman Eco Cabanes reserves the right to prohibit, suspend, or extinguish any fire at any time where it reasonably believes that weather conditions, drought, wind, operational requirements, guest safety, environmental protection, or any other circumstance creates an increased fire risk.Guests shall be fully responsible for any damage, loss, injury, environmental harm, firefighting costs, government penalties, restoration expenses, legal costs, insurance claims, or other liabilities arising directly or indirectly from any fire started, maintained, or caused by themselves or any individual associated with their reservation.To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ātman Eco Cabanes shall not be responsible or liable for any injury, property damage, or other loss arising from the use of campfires or fire pits by guests.Failure to comply with this Campfires, Fire Pits & Fire Safety policy constitutes a material breach of these Terms & Conditions and may result in the immediate extinguishment of the fire, termination of the reservation without refund except where required by applicable law, removal from the property where legally permitted, refusal of future reservations, recovery of all resulting damages and costs, and any other rights or remedies available to Ātman Eco Cabanes under these Terms & Conditions or applicable law.

10. Internet, Wi-Fi & Technology Services

Ātman Eco Cabanes provides wireless internet ("Wi-Fi") as a complimentary convenience for guests and not as an essential or guaranteed service. Guests acknowledge that the property is located in a remote, forested mountain environment where internet connectivity and telecommunications services may be affected by factors beyond the control of Ātman Eco Cabanes.Due to the property's location and the nature of telecommunications infrastructure, guests acknowledge that Wi-Fi and internet services may experience:Slow connection speeds;Limited bandwidth;Reduced performance during periods of high usage;Temporary interruptions or outages;Signal loss;Weather-related disruptions;Utility or telecommunications failures;Maintenance or service interruptions; andOther technical issues beyond the reasonable control of Ātman Eco Cabanes.Ātman Eco Cabanes does not guarantee the continuous availability, speed, reliability, security, compatibility, or performance of its Wi-Fi or internet services. Internet access may be unavailable for periods of time and should not be relied upon for business operations, remote work, video conferencing, streaming, emergency communications, or any other activity requiring uninterrupted connectivity.Guests are solely responsible for protecting their own devices, accounts, passwords, software, and personal information while using the internet. Ātman Eco Cabanes does not guarantee the security of any internet connection and shall not be responsible for unauthorized access, data loss, viruses, malware, cyberattacks, or any other security incident arising from a guest's use of the internet or personal electronic devices.To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ātman Eco Cabanes shall not be responsible or liable for any inconvenience, interruption, delay, loss of data, loss of business, loss of income, missed communications, inability to access online services, or any other direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the unavailability or performance of Wi-Fi or internet services.No refund, credit, discount, compensation, or cancellation shall be provided due to the interruption, degradation, or unavailability of Wi-Fi, internet access, cellular service, or other telecommunications services, except where required by applicable law.Guests are encouraged to embrace the peaceful nature of the property and recognize that occasional interruptions to technology services are part of the unique experience of staying in a remote forest environment.Failure of Wi-Fi, internet, cellular, or other telecommunications services shall not constitute a breach of these Terms & Conditions and shall not relieve guests of any payment obligations or other responsibilities arising under their reservation.

Ātman Eco Cabanes will respect the privacy and dignity of guests while fulfilling its legal obligations.Service animals must remain under the care and control of their handler at all times and shall be supervised in a manner that ensures the safety, comfort, and peaceful enjoyment of all guests. Unless the service being performed requires otherwise, service animals should be appropriately harnessed, leashed, or otherwise controlled while on the property.Guests accompanied by service animals shall comply with all reasonable health, safety, sanitation, and operational requirements established by Ātman Eco Cabanes, provided such requirements do not conflict with applicable law or interfere with the lawful use of the service animal.Handlers remain responsible for the behaviour of their service animal and for ensuring that the animal does not create unnecessary disturbances, pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others, or cause avoidable damage to the property beyond normal wear and tear.Nothing in this section limits the right of Ātman Eco Cabanes to take reasonable measures permitted by applicable law where a service animal is out of control, poses a direct threat to the health or safety of others, is not house-trained, or where its continued presence is otherwise inconsistent with applicable legal requirements.Guests accompanied by service animals remain responsible for any damage to the property, excessive cleaning required beyond normal housekeeping, or other reasonable costs arising from the actions of the service animal, except where prohibited by applicable law.This Service Animals policy applies exclusively to service animals recognized under applicable law. Companion animals, emotional support animals, therapy animals, comfort animals, and pets are governed separately under the Pet Policy and are subject to the rules, restrictions, and fees set out therein, unless otherwise required by applicable law.Nothing in this section limits any rights or obligations established under applicable accessibility or human rights legislation.

Ātman Eco Cabanes may require payment of these costs before shipping any property.Ātman Eco Cabanes does not guarantee that lost property will be located, recovered, stored, or returned. While the property is designed to provide a comfortable experience, water remains a valuable natural resource. Guests are encouraged to conserve water by limiting unnecessary use, promptly reporting leaks or continuously running fixtures, and using water in a reasonable and environmentally responsible manner.Guests shall not flush, dispose of, or introduce into any toilet, sink, drain, shower, or wastewater system any material that may damage, obstruct, contaminate, or interfere with the property's plumbing or septic systems, including, without limitation:Baby wipes, disinfecting wipes, cleaning wipes, makeup wipes, or any product marketed as "flushable";Feminine hygiene products;Paper towels, tissues, cotton swabs, cotton balls, dental floss, or similar products;Diapers or personal hygiene products;Grease, fats, oils, food scraps, coffee grounds, or cooking waste;Paints, solvents, fuels, pesticides, chemicals, medications, or hazardous substances;Excessive quantities of soap, bleach, disinfectants, drain cleaners, or other harsh cleaning products; orAny other item not intended for disposal through a residential septic system.Guests shall immediately notify Ātman Eco Cabanes of any plumbing issue, blocked drain, overflowing fixture, unusual odour, leak, or suspected malfunction affecting the water or septic systems.Guests shall not tamper with, alter, disconnect, or attempt to repair any plumbing, well, filtration, water treatment, recycling, or septic equipment.Where Ātman Eco Cabanes determines, acting reasonably, that damage, blockage, contamination, excessive cleaning, emergency pumping, repairs, environmental remediation, or other costs result from the misuse or negligent use of the property's water or septic systems by a guest or any person associated with the reservation, the reservation holder shall be responsible for all reasonable costs incurred, including repair, labour, inspection, cleaning, restoration, contractor, administrative, and legal costs to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.Temporary interruptions, reductions in water pressure, or limitations on water service may occasionally occur due to maintenance, weather conditions, utility failures, well operation, emergency repairs, or other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Ātman Eco Cabanes. Such interruptions shall not constitute a breach of these Terms & Conditions and shall not entitle guests to any refund, credit, compensation, or cancellation except where required by applicable law.Nothing in this section limits the obligation of Ātman Eco Cabanes to maintain its water supply and wastewater systems in accordance with applicable health, environmental, and public safety laws.

For the safety and security of guests, visitors, staff, and property, Ātman Eco Cabanes may utilize closed-circuit television ("CCTV") or other video surveillance systems in selected public and operational areas of the property.Security cameras may be installed in locations including, but not limited to:Parking areas;Reception and check-in areas;Building entrances and exits;Exterior walkways and common outdoor areas;Storage, maintenance, or operational facilities; andOther public or security-sensitive areas where surveillance is reasonably necessary for safety, security, loss prevention, or property protection.No surveillance cameras are installed inside guest cabins or any private accommodation. Likewise, Ātman Eco Cabanes does not install surveillance cameras inside guest bathrooms, showers, washrooms, changing rooms, saunas, hot tubs, or any other area where a reasonable expectation of privacy exists.Video surveillance is used solely for legitimate purposes, including guest and employee safety, crime prevention, investigation of incidents, protection of property, verification of compliance with these Terms & Conditions, and compliance with applicable legal obligations.Recorded images may be viewed only by authorized personnel or disclosed where reasonably necessary for security purposes, insurance claims, legal proceedings, law enforcement investigations, or where otherwise required or permitted by applicable law.Guests acknowledge that their presence within monitored public areas of the property may be recorded by CCTV. By entering such areas, guests consent to the collection, use, retention, and disclosure of surveillance recordings in accordance with applicable privacy legislation.To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ātman Eco Cabanes shall not be liable for any loss, theft, damage, injury, or criminal act solely because a surveillance system did not detect, prevent, record, or successfully capture an incident.Nothing in this section limits the privacy rights afforded to guests under applicable privacy, consumer protection, accessibility, or human rights legislation. Surveillance systems will be operated in accordance with all applicable laws governing the collection, use, retention, and disclosure of personal information.

Reservations are personal to the individual who made the booking and may not be sold, assigned, transferred, sublicensed, exchanged, or otherwise provided to another person without the prior written approval of Ātman Eco Cabanes.The individual whose name appears on the reservation (the "Reservation Holder") remains fully responsible for the reservation, all payment obligations, compliance with these Terms & Conditions, and the conduct of all guests associated with the reservation, regardless of whether another person occupies the accommodation.Ātman Eco Cabanes may, in its sole discretion, permit a change to the Reservation Holder or authorize a reservation transfer where requested in advance and where satisfactory identification, payment verification, and any other information reasonably required by Ātman Eco Cabanes is provided.Ātman Eco Cabanes reserves the right to refuse any reservation transfer or change of Reservation Holder where it reasonably believes that the request may involve fraud, unauthorized resale, commercial booking activity, payment concerns, identity verification issues, or any other circumstance that may affect the security, integrity, or proper administration of the reservation system.Reservations purchased through unauthorized third parties, resellers, brokers, online marketplaces, auctions, or similar platforms may be refused, cancelled, or denied check-in without liability to Ātman Eco Cabanes, except where required by applicable law.Any approved reservation transfer shall remain subject to these Terms & Conditions, all applicable policies, availability, rate conditions, and any administrative fees that may apply at the time the transfer is processed.Unauthorized transfers or attempted transfers constitute a material breach of these Terms & Conditions and may result in the cancellation of the reservation, refusal of check-in, or termination of the stay without refund, except where required by applicable law.Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available to Ātman Eco Cabanes under these Terms & Conditions or applicable law.

18. Fraudulent, Suspicious & Unauthorized Reservations

By completing a reservation, the Reservation Holder acknowledges that the charges associated with the reservation are authorized and agrees to pay all applicable accommodation charges, fees, taxes, contractual charges, and other amounts owing under these Terms & Conditions.Guests agree to contact Ātman Eco Cabanes directly and provide a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve any billing concern before initiating a chargeback, payment reversal, or other dispute with their financial institution or payment service provider.Where a guest initiates a chargeback, payment reversal, or similar payment dispute after having received all or a substantial portion of the accommodation, services, or other benefits purchased, and Ātman Eco Cabanes reasonably believes the chargeback or dispute is improper, fraudulent, or otherwise without valid legal or contractual basis, Ātman Eco Cabanes reserves the right to vigorously contest the dispute using all available documentation, including reservation records, payment records, correspondence, identification, signed agreements, photographs, surveillance footage where applicable, access logs, and any other relevant evidence.If a chargeback or payment dispute is resolved in favour of Ātman Eco Cabanes, or if a court or other competent authority determines that payment remains owing, the Reservation Holder shall remain responsible for all outstanding amounts due under the reservation.To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ātman Eco Cabanes reserves the right to recover:Any unpaid accommodation charges, fees, taxes, or other amounts owing;Reasonable administrative and collection costs incurred in responding to or recovering the disputed amount;Reasonable legal fees and court costs where awarded or otherwise recoverable by law; andAny other damages or remedies available under these Terms & Conditions or applicable law.Ātman Eco Cabanes further reserves the right to refuse future reservations from any individual who has initiated a fraudulent or improper chargeback or payment dispute, subject to applicable human rights and consumer protection laws.Nothing in this section limits the right of a guest to dispute a charge in good faith where permitted by applicable law, nor does it limit any statutory rights or remedies available under consumer protection legislation. Guests remain responsible for all outstanding charges, damages, and other amounts owing under these Terms & Conditions.Nothing in this section limits the right of Ātman Eco Cabanes to contact law enforcement, emergency services, or other appropriate authorities where circumstances reasonably warrant such action, nor does it limit any other rights or remedies available under these Terms & Conditions or applicable law.

By bringing a pet onto the property, the Reservation Holder accepts full responsibility for the pet's behaviour, supervision, and compliance with this Pet Policy.All pets must be declared at the time of booking or prior to arrival and are subject to any applicable pet fees, limits, or restrictions established by Ātman Eco Cabanes.Pet owners shall ensure that their pets:Remain under their supervision and control at all times;Are leashed or otherwise properly restrained whenever outside the cabin, unless within a designated off-leash area, if any;Do not disturb other guests through excessive barking, aggressive behaviour, or other nuisance conduct;Do not chase, harass, injure, or otherwise disturb wildlife, livestock, or other animals;Are not left unattended in a cabin for extended periods where doing so may create excessive noise, distress, or safety concerns;Are house-trained and free from contagious diseases or parasites; andComply with all applicable municipal animal control laws and regulations.Pet owners are responsible for immediately cleaning up after their pets throughout the property and properly disposing of pet waste in designated receptacles.Pets are not permitted on furniture, beds, or other areas designated by Ātman Eco Cabanes unless expressly authorized. Guests are encouraged to bring their own pet bedding, blankets, food and water bowls, and other necessary supplies.The Reservation Holder is fully responsible for any injury, damage, excessive cleaning, odours, stains, pest treatment, property damage, environmental damage, or other costs caused by their pet. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ātman Eco Cabanes reserves the right to recover all reasonable repair, replacement, restoration, cleaning, contractor, administrative, and legal costs arising from such damage.Ātman Eco Cabanes reserves the right to require the immediate removal of any pet that is aggressive, dangerous, excessively disruptive, repeatedly noisy, uncontrolled, or otherwise poses a risk to guests, staff, wildlife, or property. Where the owner fails or refuses to comply, Ātman Eco Cabanes may terminate the reservation without refund, except where required by applicable law.Guests acknowledge that the property is located within a natural forest environment where wildlife may be present, including bears, coyotes, foxes, porcupines, skunks, birds of prey, snakes, insects, and other wild animals. Pets should never be left unattended outdoors and must remain under close supervision at all times. Ātman Eco Cabanes shall not be responsible for injury, illness, disappearance, or death of any pet resulting from wildlife encounters, natural hazards, weather conditions, or the actions of other guests or animals, except where caused by the negligence of Ātman Eco Cabanes.This Pet Policy applies only to pets voluntarily brought onto the property. Service animals are governed separately under the "Service Animals" section of these Terms & Conditions and are not subject to this Pet Policy where prohibited by applicable law.Nothing in this section limits any rights or obligations established under applicable animal welfare, accessibility, consumer protection, or human rights legislation.

The fees in effect at the time of booking shall apply to the reservation.Standard Pet FeePet Accommodation Fee: CAD $50.00 per pet, per nightThe standard pet fee covers routine cleaning associated with accommodating pets and does not cover excessive cleaning, damages, repairs, or additional labour resulting from the pet's stay.Additional ChargesWhere a pet causes damage or requires services beyond normal housekeeping, Ātman Eco Cabanes reserves the right to charge the Reservation Holder for the reasonable cost of, including but not limited to:Excessive pet hair removal;Deep cleaning beyond normal housekeeping;Odour removal or deodorization treatments;Flea, tick, or other pest inspection and treatment;Replacement or repair of damaged furniture, flooring, bedding, linens, towels, décor, appliances, fixtures, doors, windows, screens, or other property;Repair of scratches, chewing damage, stains, digging, or other property damage;Removal or disposal of pet waste not properly cleaned by the guest;Environmental restoration or landscaping damage;Additional labour, contractor, administrative, inspection, or professional cleaning costs reasonably incurred as a result of the pet's actions; andAny other reasonable costs necessary to restore the property to its condition prior to the stay.Where damage exceeds the amount of any security deposit or pre-authorized credit card hold, the Reservation Holder remains responsible for all remaining amounts owing to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.Ātman Eco Cabanes reserves the right to document any pet-related damage through photographs, inspection reports, invoices, contractor estimates, surveillance footage where applicable, or other reasonable evidence before applying charges.Nothing in this section limits any other rights or remedies available to Ātman Eco Cabanes under these Terms & Conditions or applicable law.

29. Pet Rules

To help ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all guests, the following rules apply to all pets brought onto the property:A maximum of two (2) pets per cabin is permitted unless otherwise approved in writing by Ātman Eco Cabanes.All pets must be declared during the booking process or before arrival.Pets must remain under the control and supervision of their owner at all times.Pets must be kept on a leash whenever outside the cabin unless within an area specifically designated by Ātman Eco Cabanes as off-leash.Pets must not be left unattended in cabins for extended periods where they may bark excessively, become distressed, damage property, or create a nuisance for other guests.Owners must immediately clean up after their pets and properly dispose of all pet waste in designated receptacles.Pets are not permitted to chase, harass, feed, injure, or otherwise disturb wildlife.Guests must not allow pets to enter neighbouring cabins, private guest areas, or any area where pets are prohibited.Pets must not be washed in sinks, showers, bathtubs, or other plumbing fixtures intended for guest use.Owners are encouraged to bring their own pet bedding, blankets, food bowls, water bowls, and towels to help protect the property's furnishings.Excessive barking, aggressive behaviour, repeated disturbances, or any conduct that interferes with the peaceful enjoyment of other guests is prohibited.Guests acknowledge that Ātman Eco Cabanes is located within a natural forest environment where wildlife may be present, including bears, coyotes, foxes, porcupines, skunks, birds of prey, snakes, and other wild animals. 31. Pet Health & Vaccination Requirements

By bringing a pet onto the property, the Reservation Holder represents and warrants that the pet:Is appropriately vaccinated where required by applicable law;Is free from any contagious disease or condition that could reasonably pose a risk to other guests, staff, wildlife, or other animals;Is free from fleas, ticks, mites, or other parasites that have not been appropriately treated;Is not subject to any quarantine order or government restriction; andCan be safely supervised and controlled by its owner at all times.Ātman Eco Cabanes reserves the right to refuse entry or require the immediate removal of any pet that reasonably appears to pose a health or safety risk to guests, staff, wildlife, or other animals, or whose owner is unable or unwilling to maintain proper control of the pet.Nothing in this section limits the right of Ātman Eco Cabanes to take reasonable measures to protect the health, safety, and peaceful enjoyment of guests, staff, wildlife, and the property, in accordance with applicable law.This version is clearer and avoids subjective terms like "good health," while still protecting you against contagious illnesses, parasite infestations, and unsafe situations.

32. Pet Owner Responsibility & Liability

The Reservation Holder accepts full responsibility for the conduct of their pet throughout the stay.To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Reservation Holder shall be liable for any injury, death, damage, loss, claim, expense, or liability arising directly or indirectly from the actions or behaviour of their pet, including injuries to other guests, staff, visitors, contractors, neighbouring property owners, wildlife, or other animals.The Reservation Holder agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Ātman Eco Cabanes, its owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, and representatives from and against any third-party claims, actions, liabilities, damages, losses, judgments, penalties, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from the presence or actions of the pet, except to the extent caused by the negligence or wilful misconduct of Ātman Eco Cabanes.Nothing in this section limits any other rights or remedies available to Ātman Eco Cabanes under these Terms & Conditions or applicable law.

33. Emergency Contact for Pets

Guests bringing pets onto the property shall provide a mobile telephone number that remains reachable throughout their stay.Where a pet creates an emergency, causes significant disturbance, escapes, appears to be in distress, damages property, or otherwise requires the immediate attention of its owner, Ātman Eco Cabanes may attempt to contact the Reservation Holder using the contact information provided.If the Reservation Holder cannot be reached within a reasonable period and immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect the health or safety of the pet, guests, staff, wildlife, or property, Ātman Eco Cabanes may take such reasonable measures as it considers appropriate under the circumstances, including contacting local animal control authorities, a veterinarian, emergency services, or any other appropriate authority.Any costs, veterinary expenses, transportation charges, animal control fees, or other reasonable expenses incurred as a result of such action shall be the responsibility of the Reservation Holder to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.Ātman Eco Cabanes shall not be liable for any loss, injury, illness, escape, or death of a pet resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control or from actions reasonably taken in good faith to protect the health, safety, or welfare of persons, animals, or property, except where such loss results from the negligence or wilful misconduct of Ātman Eco Cabanes.

Wild animals are unpredictable and may be encountered at any time.Guests are responsible for exercising reasonable caution, following all posted signs and staff instructions, properly storing food and waste, supervising children and pets, maintaining a safe distance from wildlife, and never feeding, approaching, provoking, or attempting to interact with wild animals.Guests further acknowledge that natural hazards may include, without limitation:Falling trees, branches, or limbs;Dead or weakened trees;Uneven or slippery ground;Rocks, roots, mud, snow, or ice;Flooding or erosion;Falling ice or snow from trees or buildings;Lightning, high winds, severe weather, and other naturally occurring environmental conditions.To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ātman Eco Cabanes shall not be liable for any injury, illness, death, property damage, loss, or other harm arising directly or indirectly from encounters with wildlife, animal attacks or bites, insect bites or stings, falling trees or branches, or any other natural hazard or environmental condition that is beyond the reasonable control of Ātman Eco Cabanes.Nothing in this section limits the obligation of Ātman Eco Cabanes to take reasonable care in maintaining the property or affects any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ātman Eco Cabanes, its owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, and representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or economic damages, including, without limitation, loss of income, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, loss of enjoyment, loss of data, business interruption, emotional distress, or any other consequential loss arising out of or relating to a reservation, stay, purchase, use of the property, participation in any activity or experience, or use of the website or services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.Except where prohibited by applicable law, the total aggregate liability of Ātman Eco Cabanes for any claim arising out of or relating to a reservation, stay, purchase, use of the property, website, products, services, activities, or experiences shall not exceed the total amount actually paid by the Reservation Holder to Ātman Eco Cabanes for the specific reservation, product, or service giving rise to the claim.Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, gross negligence or wilful misconduct where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.Guests acknowledge that the fees charged by Ātman Eco Cabanes reflect this allocation of risk and that these limitations form an essential basis of the agreement between the parties.If any portion of this section is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.37.1. IndemnificationTo the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Reservation Holder and each guest agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ātman Eco Cabanes, its owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, and representatives from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, proceedings, liabilities, damages, judgments, fines, penalties, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees and disbursements, arising out of or relating to:Any breach of these Terms by the Reservation Holder or any guest;The negligent, reckless, intentional, or unlawful acts or omissions of the Reservation Holder, guests, visitors, invitees, children, or pets under their care or control;Damage to the property, buildings, furnishings, equipment, landscaping, trees, wildlife habitat, or any other property belonging to Ātman Eco Cabanes or third parties;Personal injury, illness, death, or property damage caused by the Reservation Holder, guests, visitors, or pets;Any violation of applicable laws, regulations, governmental orders, or third-party rights;Any claim brought by a third party arising from the actions or omissions of the Reservation Holder, guests, visitors, or pets during or in connection with the reservation or stay.The Reservation Holder remains fully responsible for the conduct and compliance of all guests, visitors, children, invitees, and pets included in or associated with the reservation, regardless of whether the Reservation Holder is personally present at the time of the incident.Ātman Eco Cabanes reserves the right, at its sole discretion and at the Reservation Holder's expense where permitted by applicable law, to assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter subject to indemnification under this section. The Reservation Holder agrees to cooperate fully in the defence of any such claim.The indemnification obligations set out in this section survive the completion, cancellation, or termination of the reservation or stay and continue to apply to any claims arising from events occurring during the reservation or use of the property.Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available to Ātman Eco Cabanes under these Terms, at law, or in equity, nor does it require indemnification where prohibited by applicable law.37.2. Consumer Protection LegislationNothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or waive any rights, remedies, warranties, guarantees, or obligations that cannot be excluded, restricted, or waived under applicable consumer protection legislation, including the Québec Consumer Protection Act and any other applicable laws.If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unenforceable, or inconsistent with applicable consumer protection legislation, that provision shall be interpreted, modified, or severed only to the extent necessary to comply with applicable law, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.Where applicable law provides consumers with greater rights or protections than those set out in these Terms, the applicable law shall prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.37.3. Privacy Compliance (Law 25)Ātman Eco Cabanes is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal information in accordance with applicable privacy legislation, including Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (commonly referred to as "Law 25"), where applicable.The collection, use, disclosure, retention, safeguarding, and destruction of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. By making a reservation, creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using our website or services, guests acknowledge that they have read and understood our Privacy Policy.Nothing in these Terms limits or modifies any privacy rights granted to individuals under applicable privacy legislation. Guests may exercise any applicable privacy rights by contacting the Privacy Officer using the contact information published in our Privacy Policy.

Ātman Eco Cabanes may offer physical and electronic gift cards ("Gift Cards") that may be redeemed toward eligible products, services, accommodations, workshops, experiences, food, beverages, or other offerings designated by Ātman Eco Cabanes.Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated at the time of purchase:Gift Cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.Gift Cards are non-transferable only where required by applicable law; otherwise, they may be used by any person in possession of the Gift Card.Gift Cards may not be resold for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of Ātman Eco Cabanes.Gift Cards may not be used to purchase other Gift Cards unless expressly permitted.Lost, stolen, damaged, destroyed, or unauthorizedly used Gift Cards are the responsibility of the holder and will not be replaced except where required by applicable law or where Ātman Eco Cabanes can reasonably verify ownership and the remaining balance.Ātman Eco Cabanes reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel any Gift Card obtained through fraud, theft, unauthorized means, or in violation of these Terms.Gift Cards may be redeemed only while Ātman Eco Cabanes continues to operate and offer the applicable products or services. Redemption remains subject to availability, reservation requirements, seasonal operations, capacity limits, blackout dates where disclosed, and any additional terms applicable to the product or service being purchased.Where the value of a purchase exceeds the available Gift Card balance, the remaining balance must be paid using another accepted payment method. Any unused balance shall remain available for future eligible purchases, subject to applicable law.Promotional Gift Cards, complimentary Gift Cards, prizes, discounts, bonus credits, or other promotional offers may be subject to additional terms, restrictions, eligibility requirements, expiration dates, or redemption conditions disclosed at the time they are issued.Nothing in this section excludes or limits any rights granted to consumers under applicable law, including the Québec Consumer Protection Act.38.1 Promotional Gift Card BenefitsAny promotional benefits associated with a Gift Card, including priority booking access, introductory discounts, promotional pricing, or similar incentives, are personal promotional offers and have no cash value.
